The Nebraska Concrete and Aggregates
Association (NC&AA) is administering
training and certification programs for
concrete technicians and field inspectors
in Nebraska. This training is offered in
partnership with the Nebraska Chapter of the
American Concrete Institute and the Nebraska
Department of Roads.
This program is a set of five courses
which are crucial to the training and
certification of people engaged in building
and maintaining Nebraska’s federally
supported transportation system, as
well as
some commercial and residential
construction.
This program offers the opportunity for
training and certification, with options

permitting the participant to register
for
only the exam portions.
An ACI Concrete Field Testing Technician,
Grade I is an important personal
qualification. The ACI defines this type of
technician as a person who has demonstrated
knowledge and ability to properly perform
and record the results of seven specified
field tests on freshly mixed concrete by
passing the ACI certification examinations.
Under the ACI portion of this program
each
registrant seeking certification will
take a
written examination and a
performance
examination administered

by an official
examiner of ACI.
Under the Nebraska Department of Roads
(NDOR)
portion of the program each registrant
seeking certification will take a written
examination
administered by an official
examiner of NDOR.
Additional performance
testing will also be required
for NDOR Level
II certification.
Check this web site often. We will be adding
information frequently. Depending upon
demand,
we will add courses in different
locations in Nebraska.
