Promotion: Pervious Concrete
Pervious Concrete...
"When it Rains, it Drains"
This stormwater management system
is gaining serious momentum, even in the
Midwest. Sometimes referred to as no fines
concrete or porous concrete, pervious
concrete contains a 15% to 25% void
structure that allows stormwater to “flow
through” the concrete into an aggregate
base reservoir or aggregate detention cell.
Basic Pervious Concrete Properties:
-
Porosity 15%-25%
-
Permeability 3-8 gal/sf/min
-
Density 120 psf
-
Strength 500-3500 psi
